  • pictured below with Australian superstar, Alex Di Minaur (centre)
  • Cindy was Alex’s first coach from ages 5 to 7 in 2004-2006
  • Alex de Minaur is currently ranked #2 in Australia and 43 in the world. He is currently the second youngest player in the ATP top 100.
  • Cindy Dock was his first coach with us at Harold Fraser Reserve in Kogarah Bay from 2003-2005. Alex lived 500 metres away and walked in at age 4 – we gave him his first racquet for free because he was so good but so small. Our comment was that one day, he could play at Wimbledon. All at the age of 19, Alex played Rafael Nadal at Wimbledon June 2018.
  • Cindy’s comments are that Alex was a perfect student – he would listen and carry out instructions perfectly. She coached him and another 2 kids, Ryan Sargent and Gabriella Lock together, and they all worked very well together at the Kogarah Bay centre when they were 5-6 years old. Cindy is still good friends with mum, Esther.

The video (right) was filmed by Dad, Pancho in 2005 in Spain, Alex is 6, Cindy was ranked 600 on the Women’s tour in the world.

Cindy, a former world ranked and Australian junior doubles champion, is now a professional coach, at Strathfield in Sydney. Cindy and Alex’x mum Esther regularly stay in contact.
