My 9 year old daughter Georgia has attended the Tennis Blast in Sydney for the past 4 years combining private and group coaching sessions.
She really looks forward to going to Tennis each week as her coach Kerry Dock and staff foster a fun, all round approach to Tennis. Her ball skills, stroke technique and footwork training have gone from strength to strength thanks to their patience and mentoring.
Tennis Blast keeps Georgia motivated, and provides a fun, encouraging learning environment, constantly striving to find new and exciting ways of teaching Tennis with new techniques, fun games.
The school holiday junior camps are definitely a highlight for Georgia as she loves makings new friends whilst accelerating her Tennis skills. She always looks forward to the infamous water balloon fights during the summer months too!!
Kerry’s positive attitude and passion for Tennis really comes through in his and the teaching skills of all his staff and associated Tennis enthusiasts.

I am a beginner player and Tennis Blast did a great job in teaching me the fundamental skills of tennis and at the same time making it fun and enjoyable.
The coaching style is direct and methodical; the approach in explaining tennis techniques makes it easy to understand and remember.
Tennis Blast covers all aspects of the game, giving you time to master one skill before moving on to the next.
They are very encouraging and know how far to push my fitness limits which makes the sessions a great work out as well.
I always feel a sense of achievement, like a tennis champ after each coaching lesson. After only a few months of lessons, I am able to play tennis with more experienced players.
I also got much fitter, losing 9 kilograms in a few month without any discomfort and all my friends noticed and asked what I had been doing.
Training at Tennis Blast is a nice way to get fit.
Elena Chung, Sydney.
Tennis Blast is a fun and productive program, and ever since my first lesson, I have been enjoying everything about it.
Getting trained at is enjoyable, as the instructors are highly skilled and make learning fun for us. They teach us the basic stroke and then let us practise by feeding the ball towards us and allow us to hit the ball using the newly learned stroke.
By going to Tennis Blast, my cardiovascular endurance has increased and I have gotten more fit than before. Although I had been practising tennis before I came to Tennis Blast, once I came to this academy, the coach corrects all my strokes and footwork.
Going to lessons is probably one of the most important ways to learn tennis, but to be a good player, the people have to practise themselves outside of the lessons.
Even if you don’t have a ball, we are taught to pretend you are hitting a ball, which allows us to practice our stroke and form.
Ever since entering the Tennis Blast Academy, I have accomplished many things such as learning how to volley, how to hit straight down the court with the forehand and backhand, and most importantly I have accomplished how to play tennis properly and skilfully.
Overall, I highly recommend the Tennis Blast program and it has been a fun and enjoyable experience.
